Dr. Jacoby is a Board Certified Ob/Gyn who lectures locally and nationally on female sexual health issues. He is a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists. In addition, he is a highly respected Ob/Gyn in general practice in Plano, Texas. His accessibility to his patients and his ability to listen empathically in a relaxed, non-judgmental fashion, add a special dimension to the treatment he provides and allow for an exceptional rapport with his patients. They feel safe in discussing this very personal aspect of their lives with him. Dr. Jacoby was recognized as one of the best doctors in Dallas in November 2004 issue of D Magazine. He also received the Reader’s Choice Award for the “Best Ob/Gyn in 2004” from the Plano Star Courier.

Barbara Gold is a licensed psychotherapist and marriage and family therapist specializing in sexual health. She also specializes in ob/gyn issues, infertility, pregnancy/newborn loss, PMS, PMDD, menopause and male and female sexual dysfunction.  In addition, she also works with cancer patients, previvors, survivors, and caregivers. Her work with couples focuses on helping create intimacy in and out of the bedroom and improving communication and trust.  She sees gay and lesbian individuals and couples, as well as heterosexual clients, and her group work includes couples' support groups for infertility, and currently, a mixed gender group. In private practice for almost thirty years, she is a licensed marriage and family therapist and clinical social worker, and is knowledgeable about both individual and couple dynamics which impact sexual functioning and intimacy.  Her direct, yet nurturing style of therapy provides a safe and supportive environment in which clients can talk comfortably about this very personal and frequently difficult to discuss subject. She often uses humor to create a safe environment in which these conversations can more easily occur.  She is a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, a Diplomate in clinical social work, and has been trained and certified in clinical hypnosis, family mediation, collaborative law and received post graduate training in marriage and family therapy. She has lectured and led workshops on a wide variety of mental health topics. Ms. Gold was trained by and affiliated with John Gray, author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus for a number of years, and hosted a radio talk show, Family Values, which included interviews with guests such as Dr. Gray and Rob Becker, creator and star of Defending the Caveman, a one-man comedy dealing with gender differences. Ms Gold is involved with a support group for people with genetic cancers. She brings a great deal of knowledge and experience from a variety of different sources to her work.
